ACT Offers a wide range of sensors that meet the needs of our calendered products clients.
The Envision M-Series of sensors can measure either single or with the Terahertz "Multiple Layers" of thickness or basis weight of calendered rubber or vinyl products. Depending on the installation, either a transmission or backscatter sensor can be used. Using either fixed sensors or scanning frames, the Control options, can provide right, left and center control of the gap. In addition, utilizing a combination of thickness and basis weight sensors the System can provide thickness, weight and calculated density measurements.
